Stress is a common factor in our daily lives. Too much to do and too little time is a common complaint. If at the end of the day you go to your bed with your head buzzing you may find you have difficulty sleeping making stress all the more difficult to deal with the following day.
Lavender is probably best known to most people for its ability to induce a good night’s sleep. However, not everybody likes the scent of lavender and there are many more oils that are effective sedative oils. Some of these are chamomile, neroli, bergamot and rose. The best ways to apply these oils are in massage or in a bath ideally about half an hour before going to bed.
