Elaine Taggart
I qualified as a beauty therapist in 1993 graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University having completed 3 years training between here and Clydebank College. Beauty Therapy has always been my passion and I started my own business in 1994.
Being self employed is tough! And I’ve burned out a couple of times in my career working way too many hours through fear of lack. In those times I’ve worked in different environments to take a rest and refuel my passion.
Nowadays I focus on complementary therapies as I’ve always specialised in these areas. I work intuitively which means I have no set routine for my treatments, I listen to each client and adapt to their unique requirements.
I’m noticing a steep decline in mental health across the board and I’m dedicated to playing my part in society wherever I can. At the moment this means as well as nurturing and supporting my adult daughters, I take time out to mentor with MCR pathways. I also run a low cost clinic for those with financial challenges.
I’m delighted to be involved with the CASTL (Connections After School Through Learning) charity. I provide massage for their service users offering them some lovely relaxation after their music class.
I look forward to meeting you and supporting you to improve your wellbeing.
