We can both play our part to ensure a clean, safe working space. There a few things to prepare before your treatment.
YOU
Please…..
Ensure that the room used for your treatment and your kitchen are clean – surfaces clear of dishes etc.
Disinfect all handles and surfaces.
Have an area cleared big enough for the massage table/treatment chair.
Have two large towels, pillow with fresh pillow case, blanket or duvet – whatever your preference for the comfort of your treatment. Please ensure all laundry has been cleaned at 60°.
If possible have a small table or chair available for my products – this will be covered with a disposable cover.
Phones off!
Please keep the treatment room free of other people and pets for the duration of your appointment.
Personal hygiene – please shower before your treatment, do not apply creams or lotions 24hours prior to treatment as they can conflict with my products.
Be honest! It’s absolutely no problem to change your appointment if you or someone in your household has Covid-19 symptoms. These symptoms include
* a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
* a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
* a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
ME
I will bring my own soap, hand sanitiser, disinfectant spray & wipes.
I will put a plastic cover on the floor
All equipment will be disinfected before the treatment starts
I have a UV bag which keeps products sterile.
Personal hygiene – short clean varnish free nails, regular hand washing, fresh clean clothes.
PPE – visor, mask for close facial work, apron, gloves where required.
It all sounds very impersonal and footery! But it should be a quick straightforward process that will ensure optimum cleanliness for us all
